Report by Daniel Mortlock:
Who'd organise a cricket team? After thinking we were on "easy street" with 18 players listed as available on the Doodle poll, a record(?) number of withdrawals meant we were down to seven players 24 hours bofore the start time. Some last-minute recruiting - that included three would be debuts, including by Saad's brother - meant that was back up to twelve by mid-afternoon . . . at which point Dave conveyed the news that, to nobody's surprise, Fitz was waterlogged and the game was off (a result which could have been achieved by simply not bothering to schedule the fixture in the first place).
