Report by Grant Kennedy:
First innings: They smacked us around the park and it rained on and off. Total 157.
Second innings: We smacked them around the park and it rained so much we nearly went in. I'm actually amazed we didn't and have a newfound respect for what it means to be British. Luckily we stayed and got 24 off the 9th (eight ball) over, and after that it was an easy run a ball win. Most importantly Dave Norman (3*) didn't ruin his average, hitting the winning runs. [Arguably more important still was that Grant (54 off 41 balls) and Tom Serby (68* off 60 balls) put together a 135-run opening partnership! - ed.]
Summary: It really did rain a lot.
