After weeks of endless sunshine and increasing numbers of fielders claiming they couldn't dive "because the ground's so hard", Cambridge finally got some decent rain today. Which would have been welcome yesterday . . . but today it robbed Remnants of its once-a-year chance to be thrashed by ex-captain Graeme Hart's work team and their usual line-up of ringers.
