Believe it or not this is the first cancellation we've had all month. And even though it rained all day there was still some chance that Dave Norman might have been able to prepare an emergency wet weather wickets, especially if the conversation (available here as a two minute MP3 audio file) Ev Fox had with Christopher Martin-Jenkins on Radio 4 is anything to go by. At any rate, there will be be one final chance for Remnants to take on the special Charities XI a week from today; stay tuned to see if the weather holds out . . .
