It's one thing to have the game cancelled mid-afternoon -- at least that gives us the excitement of wondering whether the weather will clear or not. It's altogether another when it's cancelled at 11am -- how wet must the ground be for there to be no possibility of it drying in the next seven hours?
At any rate, this means that the last eleven Remnants fixtures have include five cancellations, five losses, and just the one victory -- and that really should have been a sixth loss, given that the opposition needed just 4 runs off the final two overs. Let's hope the second half of the season does not follow the pattern set by the first.
